JESS MESTER, Sydney, Australia

"The trip was an incredibly powerful experience for me, I arrived slightly nervous not knowing what to expect and left feeling more connected than I could have ever imagined at the time. The itinerary provided the perfect balance of teachings with Angela, time to Be and integrate all that was being experienced and also time to simply explore the magic that India is and all it has to offer.

I fell in love with India on this trip and I can’t imagine a better way to experience India for the first time than with someone like Angela who knows the country and each of the cities so well. Travelling with Angela allowed for ease, comfort and confidence as we travelled around and also the ability to meet people and experience things that would have never been possible without her.

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is ready to step outside of their day-to-day life and immerse themselves in the magic of India and Angela’s teachings –it’s life changing!”

My name is Angela Hryniuk, or Jhampal Tenzin. In the West, some call me 'The Teacher of Teachers.'

I first fell in love with India, this "Holy Motherland" in 1996 on my first Pilgrimage.

Over the past 30 years, I have been blessed to take part in 8 Pilgrimages to India, leading six of my own groups, sharing the vast spiritual richness and facilitating life-transforming experiences

India is changing rapidly, and becoming very westernized. The time is now, before all their rituals and customs vanish. Let go of the worry to "know where to go," as I've been to all parts. I've carefully chosen the very auspicious and holy places of four of the World's main religions: Buddhist, Hindu,Sikh, and Muslim.

To achieve some of my results as a Buddhist Spiritual teacher, I have studied and worked with many great Spiritual Luminaries, both in India and around the world. Including...

-- His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama (1990 - to present, private retreat 2015)
-- Kalu Rinpoche, the Dalai Lama's tutor (2000)
-- Sayadaw U Lakanaw, Burmese Master lama (1999)
-- Dadi Janki, Brahma Kumaris Head (2005)
-- Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Head of Anglican Church (2003)
-- Shirin Ebadi, Muslim Nobel Peace Laureate and Activist (2003)

Many, many months have been spent in Solo & Silent Retreat (over 40,000 hours sitting on a cushion), worked with the United Nations, have been a practicing Buddhist for 33+ years, and lama/Spiritual Teacher for over 25 years.

I also bring my love of the emotional journey each of us is on. For many years I've worked with groups in residential retreats aiding (mainly) women to dissolve old belief systems and patterns, by offering many tools and techniques. Specifically working with the scientifically proven "Accelerated Transpersonal Timeline Method© or ATTM®."

This upcoming journey is one of Interfaith - you do not need to be a Buddhist, or of any particular spiritual tradition to be utterly amazed and transformed by this experience. However you must be at least a novice meditator. We will venture to the heart and soul of India, and you will be blessed with experiences and the meeting of holy people that few will seldom experience in a life time!

If you are being called, come join us!  Infuse your life with more joy than you can even imagine!

With love and blessings,

 Angela

"I was so excited, and so fearful all at the same time...

This trip has changed me from the inside.  I have to honestly say, the teachings, the places, the people and institutions have altered me.

When you hear 'Happiness comes from the inside', I always felt that was just a cliche... but now I actually believe it.

I would recommend everyone take this trip."

SAMPLE 14 DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

The delicate, sweet and ubiquitous birds song at sunrise in amongst the blue smog, chaos and beauty of the capital city of the World’s Largest Democracy “quietly” awaits you. Sightseeing landmarks Old and New Delhi including India Gate, the Red Fort, Rajpath (Gandhi’s memorial) and the shopping and entertainment hub of Connaught Place and the Janpath Market. Western women tower over the Indian men, giving a sense of undeniable physical safety.

Day 2: Train to Dharamsala

In the Himalayan Mountains you walk paths at the height that eagles fly. Settle into Kashmir Cottage – His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s mother’s former residence, now Guest House, which His Holiness’s brother, TC runs. I was not only fortunate to have been told of this “little-known” tranquil hide-away, but I was able to stay because of my acquaintance with TC. Even some Tour Companies don’t know of this place! When I stayed I felt I was taking part in living history, being a part of the Dalai Lama’s family, if only for a moment.
Day 3: Visit the Dalai Lama Temple, Tibetan Children's Village and McLeod Ganj
Where His Holiness’s personal monks study, chant and do daily prayers and rituals.

Private Blessing:
TEACHER: His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama (request being made & schedule permitting) Dodge monkeys on the “hidden” Kora path where the devout circumambulate the Dalai Lama’s residence. Truly you feel like you’re in Tibet, not India. Be amused by the skinny Indian soldiers with ‘60s rifles on guard outside the Residence.

Pick up quality Buddhist trinkets, eat momos (Tibetan dumplings – super yummy), drink Tibetan butter tea (salty, some people actually LIKE IT!) at the King of Mongolia’s son’s Restaurant. The King, who died in 2011, was not only a personal teacher, a “recognized” HIGHLY Enlightened Being, but a GREAT FRIEND of Angela's. Travelling with Angela will open spiritual doors to High lamas, monks, nuns, teachers unavailable to most.

Visit Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV), a thriving, educational community for Tibetan Children in exile where the notion of the collective, and reverence of the child far surpasses any Western idea of Children’s “rights”.

Visit DOLMA LING NUNNERY to experience time in prayer/ritual with Tibetan nuns, where it’s impossible not to feel the gratitude of being alive, emanating from the nunnery.
Day 4: Travel to BIR for PRIVATE TEACHING:
“Six Virtues of a Compassionate Being”
TEACHER: Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo  The only western Tibetan Buddhist nun to spend 12 solitary years in a Himalayan Cave. Very rare that a Western Woman is RECOGNIZED as a “Highly Realized” being; rarer still to take a teaching with her. Check out her Cave in the Snow book.
Day 5: Drive to Amritsar
Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest of the holy shrine for Sikhs. Be prepared to be squished and swayed by the hordes of devotees coming to pray and be in the presence of “Guru Granth Sahib Ji” – the living holy book of their spiritual teachings.

After the sacred, we return to the mundane and witness the “Changing of the Indian Guards” at the India/Pakistan border. Colour, pomp, and ceremony await during this most fascinating display of bravado, might and pride.

Day 6: Flight to Delhi

DAY TRIP to Taj Mahal – The “Buckingham Palace” of India. Built out of one man’s devotion to his wife, the story goes he chopped all the workers hands after completion so they could never duplicate their handiwork. Must be seen.

Day 7: Flight to Varanasi

You will see more in one day in Varanasi, then you may in a lifetime. Death, birth, weddings, protests, prayers, blessings, beatings. Experience the most delicious cup of Chai – Indian tea – made from buffalo milk for only 15 cents and purchase the highest quality silk for $200. Both well worth the price of the memories! Join in on a delicious Indian home-cooked meal made by Angela's personal friends.
Day 8: Varansi Sunrise Ganges boat ride
Witness the bruised sky at dawn, the purples, blues with the red and orange of the sun. They will greet you in Delight perhaps creating a quiet, “spiritual moment.” Hindus ceremoniously bathe in the holy, holy people do pujas on the banks of the Ganges while hawkers sell every variety of souvenir.
 Day 9: Sarnath
Where the Buddha gave his first teaching on the “Four Noble Truths” – Suffering and the end to Suffering are considered “noble” because they are Eternal Truths. Angela will give this same teaching. By special request, we will glimpse the wrist bone relic of the Buddha, where in 2000 upon seeing it, I couldn’t move, was struck speechless for nearly 30 minutes.
"I came to India without expectation. I was so wrapped up in the craziness of my own life, that I decided to dive into the unknown... of course I had an element of doubt, knowing that doubt is an integral part of faith.

All I can say to anybody is that it's been completely and utterly and absolutely fantastic. Where there was doubt, it's been rewarded with generosity and journeying, both as a group and individually, physically and spiritually.

If you come with an open mind and an open heart, you will be rewarded... that I can GUARANTEE!"

- Hylton Murray Philipson, London UK

Diane Siewert, Los Angeles, CA

“Don't think twice about going on this journey!  It's one of the best things I've ever done for myself! Where you're at spiritually, doesn't matter.  Angela and the various teachers (not to mention sites and sounds) are there to guide but YOU set the pace for your own discovery.

You're in great hands with Angela and Vikas.  Our itinerary covered much ground but was well paced and included little gems off the beaten path (both spiritually and otherwise) that added to the trip's depth and wonderment.

Throughout our travels I always felt safe and secure. Vikas being a "local" who speaks Hindi brought an added element of security to me. The accommodations, food and travel were well planned and good quality.

Go with an open heart, soul and mind and let the spirituality of India happen. India will seep into your being and will change you in subtle ways.  You will be so grateful that you pushed your fears aside and said, yes, to the journey!”
                                                             – Diane Siewert, Los Angeles, CA

Day 10: Drive to Bodhgaya
We sit beneath the grandchild of the Bodhi tree under which the Buddha himself attained full Enlightenment!

Feel “the Zone” of energy in a radius of many miles around this tiny village, Bodh Gaya.  This THE HOLIEST PLACE ON THE PLANET for Buddhists!!!

Day 11: Bodhgaya & Mahakala Caves
Chant in Mahakala Caves. Within the confines of the cave’s rock, where the Buddha himself meditated the chanting sent chills through my body as the sound vibrations bounced of the walls. This experience cannot but transform you!

Day 12: Vultures Peak, Rajgir

Sit upon the mountaintop rock where the Buddha gave his most profound teaching.
Here I had my first ‘Meditation Absorption’ experience merging with the all and everything in 1996. PROFOUND vibrational repercussions in my body ever since.  You too will feel the high, high frequencies of this holy rock.

Day 13: Flight to Agra
Visit the Taj Mahal

Day 14: Flight home

Last minute shopping at the Janpath, last group dinner
or you may like to extend your stay.
LIFE LONG BENEFITS
It will be impossible to go home without experiencing:
  • The Lessening of the Ego self into the emergence of the softened, authentic heart of “Beingness.”
  • A Deeper Equanimity after witnessing beauty and ugliness, poverty and wealth co-existing so harmoniously.
  • A Deeper Appreciation of the West. Questions of karma, reincarnation can’t but be pondered.
  • To “cherish life” from a new perspective. The West's physically richness, but spiritual poverty.
  • A Rich Encounter: YOURSELF
  • All Gifts disguised as disturbance.
"I have fallen in love with India... I can say honestly I couldn't have imagined what I got out of this trip... the benefits I've experienced far outweigh what I expected. It's hard to describe in words because it's a feeling... feelings I experienced, and connections with the people, places, teachings, and the group.

I feel very grateful and blessed to have been part of a trip that wasn't just about seeing things, but also feeling things, and being in touch with a part of myself.

If you're on the fence... you just need to take the leap... because when you take the leap, you will reap the rewards. Every penny was worth it.  I knew I had to take this trip, I didn't know why... but I trusted in that, and that divine trust has paid me back tenfold."

- Hannah Athanasiadis, Brisbane, Australia

Dr. Haley Jones, Professor

“Fantastic! Just do it!  None of your fears come true, and the insights, sounds and memories are beyond what you can even imagine! We travelled very comfortably with two amazing guides in Vikas and Angela.

I’m still feeling the benefits two years later and I’m sure I’ll be unraveling for years to come how the country and my experiences changed me.”

It will be impossible to go home without experiencing the lessening of the Ego self, into the emergence of the softened, authentic heart of “Beingness.”

Come away with deeper equanimity after witnessing beauty and ugliness, poverty and wealth co-existing so harmoniously.

Deeper appreciation of the West after questions of karma, reincarnation can’t but be pondered – how did I end up being born in the West and not in this abject physical poverty?

Learn to “cherish life” from a new perspective. Is the West physically rich, but spiritually poor, and India the reverse? Which system is better – or do we have so much to learn from one another?

What kind of spirituality do the Indians embody so that every- one isn’t raving mad living under certain abysmal conditions?

Annoyance and frustration at the beginning TRANSFORMS to understanding and appreciation for the systems we too often take for granted.

“Deeply See”, Attentively Hear, Richly Encounter: YOURSELF

Experience all gifts disguised as disturbance.
